SLICE Metal-Handle Utility Knives | Auto-Retractable or Manual

The SLICE Metal-Handle Utility Knife is the same multi-purpose tool you might be used to, but features a ceramic safety blade that lasts longer than traditional metal blades and reduces risks of injury.

This tool features an 100% zirconium oxide, also known as ceramic, blade. These blades do not rust or require any oils or lubricants, keeping them safe to use for your projects. 

Steel is a soft material, and blades dull very quickly, which is why they are grinded so sharp, to give them a productive life. Ceramic blades are much harder, so they dull slower, and last up to 11.2x longer than metal blades. Ceramic blades are also not as sharp; the cut is made by the pressure applied, so there is reduced risk of injury when handling the blade.

The metal handle allows for a comfortable grip, with an ambidextrous design to accommodate any user. Blades are easy to change, requiring no tools, and there is a storage compartment in the handle for extra blade.

The manual handle has an ORANGE textured slider to extract the blade, while the auto-retractable handle has a GREEN slider, which sheathes the blade upon release.

Either model is shipped with one rounded tip blade, but pointed tip blades are also available, to tackle those jobs that require a sharper cut to start.
